Screen Frame Jewelry Holder

The designer is always looking for a new way to hold and display her jewelry. She saw DCC’s Magnet Display and it gave her the idea for the jewelry holder. She simply added the no sew felt sleeve to hold her cord jewelry and woo-la a new jewelry holder was made! Of course if you want to sew the three sides of the sleeve you may do so.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
81-0101 DCC’S MAGNETS DISPLAY (SCREEN FRAME)
2 each - 6” X 12” pieces of felt (color of your choice)
Glass Head straight pins
Glue Gun and glue
The felt sleeve and glass head pins will hold your cord or chain to the jewelry screen holder. Earring wires poke through the screen and post earring poke through the hole and are secured to the screen wire with the back of the earring. Clip on earrings can clip to the bottom of the felt sleeve. We scalloped the edge of our felt just because…..the designer wanted to make it more decorative. It isn’t necessary.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Lay the two pieces of felt on top of each other with edges together. Lift up the edge of the felt and add a small bead of glue. Work a small section at a time. Add glue to both 6” sides and one 12” side in this manner. Let felt sleeve sit for a few minutes. Turn inside out and iron felt sleeve so that it lays straight. slip over the top of the screen.
