Plaid’s Royal Coat Decoupage Medium
Fine line permanent red marker.
Extra fine line permanent black marker

INSTRUCTIONS:
APPLYING PRINTS: Make good black and white photo copies of the photos and letters that you plan to decoupage to the top of your boxes. Cut them out.
Apply Royal Coat Decoupage Medium to the back of the print and place it on the top of the box. Start at the center and use your fingers to press out any air bubbles working your way from the center to the outside edges.
STRIPE and WRITING: Use a ruler and your red marker to draw a line around your prints, edge of the green lid and bottom edge of the white box.
Write CHRISTMAS COOKIE RECIPES BY ________ (your name) in red, on the large tree box lid.
Write SANTA and ME in red, on the medium tree box lid.
Write LETTERS TO SANTA in red, on the small tree box lid.
Use your extra fine black marker to shadow one edge of all writing.
Side load a flat brush with water and black to add shading to the edge of the box, around the red line that surrounds the photos and the bottom white edge of the box.
Carefully spatter with black paint trying not to spatter the photos and then spatter with white paint.
Finish with a coat of Royal Coat Decoupage Medium to seal the boxes.
