different colored paper to match your wallpaper
Ladybug buttons (Wal-Mart)
E6000 Glue

Preparation
• Apply an even coat of All-Purpose Sealer to the Tin Milk Can using the 3/4” wash/glaze brush. Allow to dry thoroughly. There is no basecoating needed it is already painted. The sealer will help to keep your paint from sliding around on you.

Instructions
• Using the 1/2” wash/glaze brush paint the handles and the ring around the neck in Cape Cod Blue.

• Tear the colored paper into various sized squares and rectangles. Apply an even coat of Decoupage Medium to the area that you are going to apply the paper. Apply an even coat of Decoupage Medium to the back of the paper and press into place while both are still wet. Use the brush full of Decoupage Medium to firmly press the paper down and remove all wrinkles or air bubbles.

• Cut your areas of wallpaper that you are going to use and apply in the the same as the colored paper. Tip: I have found working one area at a time to be the easiest. Allow to dry.

• With the wooden end of the brush apply the various colored dots.

• Apply 2 even coats of Decoupage Medium to the entire surface.

• Using wire cutters cut the loop off the back of the ladybug buttons and glue in place using E6000.

• Using the black permanent pen do all of the ladybug trails.
