INSTRUCTIONS
Sand and seal the Rusty Tin-Tique® birdhouses.
To make your own mirror from tile use craft scissors to cut
& remove center circle of tin. Adhere mirror to center of
board. Place tile over board and nail along the edges to secure.
If you are using the pre-made mirror 03-2525 Red Toile Mirror
you may paint it the terra cotta color or leave it the color
it is and add the birdhouses. Paint the tile and sides of
two pieces of foam core board terra cotta color. Do not worry
about getting paint on the mirror. The acrylic paint will
wipe off after it has dried. Let dry and dry brush (dry brush
means there is very little paint on your brush) ivory diagonally
from upper left corner to lower right corner just highlighting
the words and ridges. Repeat from the upper right to lower
left corner. Add a stripe of brown along side the ridge outline
of the tile. Dry brush Ivory to the tops of each birdhouse.
Adhere foam core board to back of the 3" birdhouse. Adhere
4½" birdhouse to lower left corner. Adhere foam core
3" birdhouse next (it will be raised) and finally the 2 ¾"
next to the 3" one. Use the liner to paint the ivy and leaves
along the bottom of the tile in green and highlight in ivory.
Optional: Ink detail to the ivy and leaves.
